The Kalagala Falls Farm is a 120 acre agricultural farm located at Kalagala approximately 30 minutes drive from Jinja City Centre.  Accessibility is via the Kayunga road and turn off at Kangulumira Town . The farm is strategically situated on the shores of R. Nile overlooking a series of water falls and rapids. The Farm is best known for its tasty pineapples and a variety of fruits within the orchard. The Kalagala Farm is a family owned property run by a young entrepreneur , Beloved Simon Nkuyahaga and his Family.

Activities/Things to do  on the Kalagala Farm

1. Farm Walking Tours

The Kalagala Farm offers guided walks through pineapple farm, the Orchard , the Coffee plantation and lastly through the woodlands located within the property. Besides the thrilling walk, the farm guides offer educative and informative talks on how to different crops are managed from planting to harvesting .

2. Fruit tasting Experience 

While at the Kalagala Falls Farm guests are treated to a fruit tasting experience. During the Farm walk guests can harvest organic fruits ranging from pineapples, oranges , mangoes and more. These are then to be enjoyed at the end of the walk. This is a complimentary treat to enhance the visitor experience.

3. Sights  and Sounds of the Mighty Nile 

The Kalagala Farm is strategically positioned on the shores of the Nile,  therefore visitors can enjoy a viewing deck experience and photo opportunities of the gigantic rapids on the Nile.

4. Picnic Site

The Kalagala Farm also offers beautiful grounds and woodlands suitable for picnics and small themed parties. The grounds offer ultimate privacy and  a high quality visitor experience.
