Murchison Falls National Park is the largest safari park in Uganda and Home to 4 of the BIG 5 game . In Murchison Falls we find lots of Elephants in the Wild, Giraffes, Lions, Leopard, Buffalo, Hippos , the Nile Crocodile and much more. Murchison Falls is also popular for the thunderous and most powerful waterfall in world , where the entire water of the Nile is squeezed through a narrow gorge of 7 meters wide and plunges down a cliff of 70 meters to form the white Nile as it continues its journey to the Mediterranean sea in Egypt.
Murchison Falls National Park is only one hour by internal flight from Entebbe International Airport and Daily scheduled flights are available.
Brief Itinerary of 3 Days Murchison Falls Safari and White Water Rafting starting from Jinja
Day 1: After Breakfast, Depart for the whate water rafting experience on the Nile. The water rafting takes approximately 4 hours. Have lunch and then depart for Entebbe.
Day 2: Depart for Murchison Falls. Enjoy a 5 hour scenic drive. Check in at the Paraa Safari Lodge. Lunch. Enjoy an afternoon 2 hr Boat Safari to the Bottom of the Falls. We expect the lots of Hippos, Nile Crocodiles , Birds and come upclose to the thunderous water falls. Dinner and Overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge.
Day 2: Early morning Cup of Coffee and Embark on a 3 hr game drive. We expect the see lots of game in wild, Lions, Girraffe, Buffaloes , Elephants among others. Return to the Lodge for a Heavy breakfast and Depart for thee drive back to Jinja.
